We all have seen or used a business card at one time or another. These simple but effective cards hold importance when dealing with the public in most capacities. They can be a networking tool for professionals, as well as, a promotional tool for businesses of all sizes. They are a way to make a great first impression with a client or potential boss. They hold all your contact information and with attractive designs to capture the attention of all who get one.

Because business cards are so effective, for this project, I was asked to create one for myself. I had to include the necessary information for people to get in touch with me as well as my name and title. The layout did not have to be complicated but needed to catch the attention of my audience.

My first picture is my of business card mock-up. This mock-up shows the front and backs of my created business card.
This second picture is my style guide for the printing company. This lets them know what was used to create this card so they could replicate if needed. This style guide is done in Spot Colors and not CMYK. I used Pantone Solid Coated colors for this style guide. The wording and fonts are all found underneath the color section.
Creating a business card was very useful project as I will need this in the near future. I am glad I had this opportunity to help my career take off and that I will be able to show future employers that I created and designed my own business card.
