In the "Informing America Project", the direction was to create a site to inform Americans about a both sides of a controversial topic or inform about a misunderstood issue. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation started this project in efforts to make digital resources that were easy to read and understand by even a high schooler. There driving force was to help combat the issues of misinformation happening within the United States.

The topic that was chosen for this project "Should College Athletes Get Paid to Play Sports" was the issue my website is based on. In this website, I presented all the information necessary to understand NIL (name, image, likeness) money. I gave a history, who it affects, the pros and cons to the debate and a call to action to get people's voices heard on the issue. All of the information that was given helps the readers to understand but also make opinions for themselves on the topic.

My favorite part of the website is my comparison. I really liked how this came out. I didn’t know how combining a picture cut out and the full image of the Dodger stadium would turn out. I think adding the arrows and the words on the picture was a great solution to my problem. I think it also added a layer of visual interest in my website.
Below you will find the full website for this project. If you would like a link to the website prototype it is: https://xd.adobe.com/view/3765b681-0942-4fa5-9ec9-c9073c15a82d-6236/
